Kamelot release "Poetry For The Poisoned & Live From Wacken 2010: Limited Tour Edition" on 15 April 2011 on 2CD [Cat No 0206604ERE] via Edel's international rock label, earMUSIC distributed in the UK & Republic of Ireland by Absolute via Universal. "Poetry For The Poisoned" is the band's most successful studio album and it comes packaged here with "Live From Wacken 2010" ? the full live set ? which features new songs as well as classics from the band's past. Singer Roy Khan temporarily left the band due to illness after Wacken, which makes this show a real turning point in the career of one of the most groundbreaking and exciting names of modern heavy metal. The UK live dates of the 2011 tour are 27/4 Sheffield, Corporation and 28/4 London, Koko ? and feature stand-in singer Fabio Leone of Rhapsody. Kamelot hail from Tampa, Florida and were formed in 1991 by ever-present guitarist Thomas Youngblood.

"Poetry For The Poisoned" is a tour de force by a band truly hitting their stride and features guest appearances from the world of Metal [Soilwork, Epica, Gus G],. Their unique fusion of Metal with Progressive Rock with a twist of Gothic flavour has set them apart from their peers and their trajectory continues ever skyward. Frontman Roy Khan described the work on the album as the "longest and toughest production so far, but when I hear the result I know it was well worth the struggle."
