American motor sensation returns in October 2010

MONSTER JAM fans, reach for your diaries and your ear plugs, the show is back with a UK tour that features the triumphant return to Cardiff, for the fourth time, on 9 October 2010! Tickets are on sale 26 February 2010. With 8 shows across the country [the show visits Birmingham and Manchester too], the UK is officially hosting the most dates on the entire MONSTER JAM tour. There has been huge public demand for the show to come back to the Millennium Stadium, and the MONSTER JAM crew can't wait to roar back into town!
The high octane MONSTER JAM is a stunning family show consisting of the coolest monster trucks and freestyle Motocross with some of the world's best drivers, sickest tricks and craziest stunts. MONSTER JAM is one of the biggest entertainment events in the US running around 250 shows and selling 2.3 million tickets annually.
A monster truck is approximately 11 feet tall and 12 feet wide. They are unique custom-designed machines and weigh a minimum of 9,000 pounds. The tyres alone are 66-inches tall! Monster trucks are built for short, high-powered bursts of speed; these beasts generate 1,500 to 2,000 horsepower and can hit 100 miles per hour. Monster trucks can jump a distance greater than 14 cars side by side and up to 25 feet in the air.
