Quo frontman announces first ever
solo tour and album

Live Nation are proud to announce that Francis Rossi will undertake his first ever solo tour in May 2010. The "One Step At A Time" tour, that takes the name of his solo album to be released by EarMUSIC, through Edel on 3 May 2010, will take in six UK dates. Tickets for the tour go on sale at 10am on 18 December 2009 from www.livenation.co.uk and 0844 576 5483.

The Status Quo frontman has long been regarded as one of the finest rock performers this nation has ever produced and his songwriting has been duly recognized by the Classic Songwriter Award and the BRIT Award for Outstanding Contribution To Music [jointly with Rick Parfitt]. This solo tour will allow him to reveal another side of himself to the Rock fraternity and also to step outside the Status Quo machine and indulge himself musically. Rossi commented, "I never stop writing songs and melodies but there have been many tracks over the years that just weren't right for Quo. These songs have been gathering dust in my mind for too long and now seems the right time to showcase them. It's a big step for me but I hope to see lots of the same faces out there on the road!"

Francis Rossi will be accompanied by an 8 piece band on this tour.
